Son of James & Eliza Grainger, per DC.

On 1900 census, however, it says birth month is June (1860). Death certificate say Dec 11 1858. Family was skipped on 1860 census. Age in 1870 is 16. Age in 1880 is 26. June 1854 seems the most likely, especially as his younger brother is consistently listed as being born in July 1855 (1900 census and death certificate).

Informant (daughter) on death certificate also got mother's maiden name wrong. (Ordered marker?)
