Mrs. Mabel Epps Johnson, 95, of 112 Manor Ave., Millersville, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at her home after an illness of two years. She was the widow of George W. Johnson. Born in Millersville, she resided there over 70 years and was a daughter of the late Benjamin B. and Mary Ann Walker Epps. She was one of the oldest members of Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church and active in church work. Surviving is one daughter, Wilhelmina C. Bland, at home. (Lancaster New Era - Nov 26, 1975)
