Joseph A. Work, an esteemed citizen of Cherry Hill, died suddenly Thursday afternoon while at work, at his blacksmith shop, aged seventy-four years. He was stricken while shoeing a horse and died before a physician could reach him.
Mr. Work was a Trustee of Cherry Hill M. E. Church and a member of the Order of United American Men. He is survived by three children-Edward, of Wilmington, Del.; Mary of Baltimore, and John, of Tampa, Florida. He is also survived by his two sisters, Mrs. Clark S. Grant, of Cherry Hill, and Mrs. Arthur Harvey, of Childs.
Services were held Sunday afternoon at Cherry Hill M. E. Church, and interment was made in the adjoining cemetery."
