The funeral of John Alden, an aged resident of Cherry Hill, was held on Monday, with interment there, in the M. E. Cemetery. Mr. Alden died at the residence of David C. Work on last Friday night in the 90th year of his age. He was an uncle of Mrs. Work. He left no children. He was of the line of the Aldens of Plymouth, of whom John Alden figures in "The Courtship of Miles Standish".
