Services for Elizabeth Ann Gruber, 84, Canton, were held Sunday at Arnold's Funeral Home in Canton, with the Rev. Ernest Swartz presiding. Burial was in Forest Grove Cemetery in Canton. Mrs. Gruber died Thursday at Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She was born Jan. 23, 1895 in Canton, the daughter of William and Anna Homann Ketha. She married Walter Gruber April 3, 1918 in Monticello. Mr. Gruber died June 5, 1976. Survivors include: a duaghter, Mrs. Wilma Hendle of Evanston, Ill.; two sisters, Verna Ketha and Mrs. Clara Spurgeon, both of Canton; and a half-brother, Gus Ketha of LaBelle. Mrs. Gruber was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church and Esther Rebecca Lodge No. 8, both of Canton.
