Belva Felt August 11, 1919 - March 5, 2010
Born in 1919 to Charles and Maybelle Carle in Erie, PA, Belva attended Villa Nova College in Erie. She married Freeman Felt in 1946, and together they moved to Shelton, WA, where they built a life and a house by the bay. Belva worked in the title insurance field more than 30 years, retiring as a respected Title Officer.
Following 30 years in Tacoma, Freeman and Belva moved to Panorama City in Lacey where they gained many friends. An active musician, Belva served as organist at their University Place church for many years.
She was preceded in death by her brother Douglas and husband Freeman, who died last year at age 91. Belva is survived by son Chandler (Janis) Felt; granddaughters Jessica (Dan) Miller and Andrea Felt; sister-in-law Iris Westwood of Albany, OR.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., March 27 at St Andrews United Methodist Church, 540 School St, Lacey 98509. Remembrances to St Andrews music fund, or Timberland Regional Library Foundation, 415 Tumwater Blvd SW, Tumwater WA 98501.
