Mrs. Lillie May Whitson, 62, died Monday at her home, Cookeville Rt 4 following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Whitson Funeral Home and burial will be at Cookeville City cemetery. Robert Fox will officiate.
She was a native of Putnam County, daughter of Willis and Lottie Alexander Brown. She
was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors are a son, Buster Whitson; three daughters, Mrs. James Cumby, Miss Tilda Whitson, all of Cookeville Rt 4, and Mrs. Rosie Stewart, Raleigh, NC; brothers Arthur Brown, Bell Flower, CA., Alex Brown, Detroit; Mitchell Brown, Dayton, O.; Robert Brown, Cookeville.
