Cora F (Easley) Sneed, 76 of Jonesboro died at Craighead Memorial Hospital Tuesday afternoon. She was born in Independence County and spent most of her life in Craighead County.

She was the widow of the late William Arthur Sneed and was a Baptist.

Survivors include three sons; three sons, William Arthur (Thelma) Sneed, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri, Bobby (Armada) Sneed of Route 1, Jonesboro; Mack (Pearlie) Sneed of St. Clair, Missouri; four daughters, Willie Marie (William Alton) Bryant of Route 3, Lake City, Deolis (Perry) Penter of Route 7, Paragould, Inez (Jim) Long of St. Clair, Missouri, and Carolyn (Dee Troy) Turner of Nettleton;; two sisters Mrs. Charley Baker of Caraway and Mrs. Oscar Williams of Benton Harbor, Michigan, one brothers, Claude Easley of Benton Harbor, Michigan; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon at 1:30 in the Farmers Union Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Lemmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Log Cemetery.Active pallbearers will be Joe Wheeler, Johnny Mullins, Kenneth Russell, Donny Russell, Jerry Turner and Jerry Long.
