Richard Walter Beal 1928 ~ 2007 Richard Walter Beal, 78, passed away January 22, 2007 after a long illness. Richard was born on October 28, 1928 in Ephraim, Utah to George Beal and Arvilla Taylor. He was active in the Western Boys Baseball Association and The Lions Club. He was very devoted to Midvale City and their Beautification Committee. He retired as a General Shift Superintendent from Kennecott Copper Corporation after 47 years. He enjoyed life. His greatest love was for his family and friends. He loved being busy. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to others. One of his favorite places was working in his woodshop. He loved walking daily all over Midvale, viewing homes along the way. He enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Trilla Sorenson Beal; son, Rick (Danna) Beal; daughter, Robyn Ryan; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Neal Beal; sister, Carolyn Kump. He will be missed and loved by all. His family would like to express their gratitude to the thoughtful, dedicated health care professionals who helped him during this time. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Goff Mortuary, 8090 S. State St., Midvale, Utah. Friends may call one hour prior to the services. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
