The etching on the marker has him listed as Ruby E BEAN, which is incorrect, his name is Rudolph E. 'Rudy' Beam. Son of Ezekiel Beam & Lettie Compton, He was born c1842 in Marshall Co Al., and apparently died at the Quitman Military Hospital in Quitman MS,
