Mississippi, Olive Branch - CHARLES GOODWIN PEARCY, SR., 80, of Olive Branch passed away on Sunday, August 22, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his family. He leaves his wife of 61 years, Lois, his four children, Chuck, Jr. (Paula), Bill (Anne Gayle), Linda Grisham (Mark), and Scott (Kay Kay); 7 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Pearcy had been employed by J. Strickland, Chuck Hutton and had been proprietor of several dry cleaning establishments. He retired as Major, Army Intelligence, and had been an avid tennis player in his retirement years. Our dear Christian husband and father will be greatly missed. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24 from 5-7 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens. Service will be Wednesday, August 25 at 10:30 a.m. at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Rotunda, 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Central Church Collierville.
