Our beloved Evelyn Clara Jung, born January 25, 1925 in Fredericksburg, Texas, passed away at the age of 85, in San Antonio, Texas where she resided since the age of six.

She attended St. Henry's and St. Leo's Elementary Schools, Blessed Sacrament High School (marching band), and Incarnate Word College (college orchestra).

Following secretarial work at Kelly Field during WW II and San Antonio Transit Company, she married Archie Henson in 1946. A U.S. Air Force Service wife for twenty-five years, she resided in Germany, Panama, Alabama, California, and Texas.

Evelyn was active in church work, the choir, and the Officer's Wives' (Spouses) Clubs. She was also a member of the Air Force JAG Wives' Club of San Antonio, Our Lady of Grace Altar Society, Trinity Art League, San Antonio Catholic Deacons' Wives Club, Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem, and Military-Civilian Club of San Antonio.

One of Evelyn's great pleasures was oil and watercolor painting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Clara Fritz Jung; children, John Roy Henson, Mary Patricia Smith, and Marie Michelle Henson; siblings, Robert Jung, Albert Jung and Nora, Werner Jung and Mary, Elsie McCall and Albert, Adela Burnett, Anna Rankin and Orie, and Rita Kathryn Dean. Evelyn was survived by her husband, Archie Henson.
