Funeral services for Mrs. Mae Shanklin, 60, a native of Dallas County who died Thursday at her home, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Maplewood Assembly of God Church in Dallas, Texas.

Rev. J.L. Nothalf will officiate, with burial at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Leach Funeral Home in Irving, Texas.

Mrs. Shanklin was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Barton of Shady Grove Community.

Alice Mae Barton married Robert Spain Shanklin on September 10, 1910 in Dallas County, Texas.

Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Ward Eastwood, Mrs. Billy Stewart of Dallas, Mrs. Dick Bond of Grand Prairie, Mrs. Jack Tolle of San Antonio, and Mrs. Ethel Shanklin of Houston; four sons Artie of Irving, Oran L. of Louisville, Kentucky, Billy A. of Paducah, John Shanklin of Dallas; four sisters, Mrs. A.G. McGlothlin, Mrs. Dora Kimball, O.F. Fann of Irving, and Mrs. T.H. Guy of Dallas; one brother Jess Barton of Shady Grove, and nine grandchildren.
