Funeral services for Mrs. Ester Mae Collins, 99, of Livingston, were conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2006, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Cobb and Rev. Ovle Tinch officiating.
Burial was in Fredonia Cemetery.
Mrs. Collins died Tuesday, Nov. 14 at Livingston Regional Hospital. She worked for 17 years as a cook at Blue Circle Restaurant and was a member of First Baptist Church.
Born September 21, 1907, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late James Martin and Leann (Eldridge) Carmack. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sydney Lester Collins; a brother, Domer D. Carmack; and a sister, Ila Glen Ledbetter.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith Cook of Livingston; 2 grandchildren, Cheryl Marie Thomas and Kenneth Cook; 4 great-grandchildren, Leah Thomas, Dillon Thomas, Travis Cook, and Jordan Cook; and a niece, Jean Nivens of Livingston.
Pallbearers were Mike Holton, Jordan Cook, Dillon Thomas, Terry Thomas, Roger Jones, Ronnie Carmack, Duane Ledbetter, and Jack Henry.
