Arden Thompson
Mr. Arden Thompson, 73, of 317 Lee Street, Martin died Sunday afternoon at Weakley County Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Lyndell Thompson of Martin; two daughters, Mrs. Basil Myrick of Henderson and Mrs. Floyd Bevill of West Chester, Illinois; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon at Doug Murphy Chapel with Rev. Harold Grissom and Rev. Bill Riley officiating. Burial was in East Side Cemetery with the Doug Murphy Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Gary Dunn, Doyle Bishop, Jerry Leath, Bruce Floyd, Johnnie Shelton, Gene Reeves, and Larry Massey.
