Obituary: Lewis Huff, beloved son of L. C. and D. M Huff, was born in Berlin Twp, died June 26, 1912, at Portland, Meigs Co., OH, aged 34 yr 3 mo 3 days. He enlisted in military service at Columbus, OH, April 4, 1899, in a company of the 7th regiment and was discharged May 26, 1908. He was a member of the following lodges, F.C.B., D.O.K.K., and the F. and A. M. He was married to Miss Elizabeth Franklin in Chattanooga, TN, in June 1908. His wife dying the following September he came home July 3, 1908, and remained at home with his aged parents until his death. He leaves his aged parents, three brothers and two sisters, Delano Huff of Georgetown, PA; Harrison and Clarence, of Westerville, OH; Mrs. Ida M. Walker of Galena, OH and Mrs. Estella Barringer of East Liverpool, OH. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Carroll, of Portland, OH, after which the remains were laid in Browning Cemetery.
