Mrs. Edna Campbell Umfleet, 84, formerly of Olney Rt. 6, passed away last evening at the Richland Memorial Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services will be held in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers Funeral Home with the Rev. Byron Neely officiating. Interment will be in the Dundas Cemetery. Visitation will be in the funeral home.

Mrs. Umfleet was born near West Liberty, the daughter of George Campbell and Margaret Jane Pugh Campbell.

She was married to Arthur Umfleet in Feb. in 1924 in Richland County and he preceded her in death in 1955. She was a member of the West Liberty United Methodist Church.

She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Marion and Roba Umfleet of Olney; a sister, , Rema Campbell of 0lney; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Donald E. Umfleet who was killed in the service of his country in 1944; and three brothers, Fay, Gerald and Lawrence Campbell.
