Death of Mrs. Goslee
Mrs. C.R. Gosslee, one of Menahga most highly esteemed citizens, passed away last Friday morning, death being caused by a tumor after a long illness. The funeral services were held Sunday forenoon and interment was made in the Menahga cemetery. Several from tis village attended the funeral and they stated that it was very largely attended, which was evidence of the great respect in which Mrs. Gosslee was held by those who knew her.
Deceased was the wife of C.R. Gosslee, cashier of the First State Bank of Menahga, and they had lived in that village a number of years. She is survived by her husband and one grown son, Robert, who will have the sincere sympathy of their friends here in their great sorrow.
