Residents: First settled West of Park River in Golden Township, than moved East of Park River, where he grew to manhood.
Illness: March 18, 1930 he became ill with the Flu. The doctor was called and the flu turned into inflamation of the brain. At the age of 29 years and 6 months, Olaf passed.
Funeral: April 6, 1930, Sunday afternoon, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Park River, ND.
Interment: April 6, 1930, Memorial Park, Park River, ND.
Survivors: Parents, four sisters: Nannie(Art) Lien; Ragna; Lilllian; Helen, and four brothers: Carl of Chicago,IL; Knut; Louis; William. They all live in Park River, but or Carl.
