Stella Mae Eason was the youngest of seven children born to the union of James Wilson Eason and the former Ida Lee Felts. At age 16, she married Buford Bearl Adams on July 23, 1933. Buford was born in Oklahoma to the marriage of Chester E. Adams and the former Blanche Daisy Gerrard. He died in 1982 in Longview.
Stella and Buford were the parents of one child, their much-loved daughter Daisy Lee. The marriage ended in divorce in 1944. In 1949, Stella married Arthur Verdo "A.V." Henderson (born 1907, died 1986).
Stella was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a loving - and much loved in return - aunt. She is sorely missed.
