Barbara Biddix Hensley, age 48, of Marion, died Monday, April 18, 2005 at Memorial Mission Hospital. Born in McDowell County on July 13, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Oscar C. Biddix and Anna Laura Washburn Biddix. She was employed at Baxter Healthcare for over 30 years. Her family will remember her as a beloved mother, wife and best friend.
Surviving Mrs. Hensley is her husband, Billy Hensley, of the home; two children, Brandi Pyatt Hunt and her husband Christopher of Nebo and Robin Michelle Pyatt also of Nebo. One granddaughter, Myka Owens also survives her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Westmoreland Funeral Home & Crematory with Rev. Walker Toney officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Interment will be in McDowell Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
