Obit 2/19/1928 Joplin Globe: "LIFELONG RESIDENT OF JOPLIN SUCCUMBS. Lee Stinnett, 5C years old, pioneer Joplin resident and a miner in th e early days of the city, died at 2:05 o'clock yesterday morning at his home, 808 Broadway. Death was due to complications. Mr. Stinnett had lived in Joplin all his life and was well known throughout the district. He spent hia youth working in the mines,
For the past few years he has operated a, shoe and tobacco shop in East Joplin. He is survived by two brothers, Aaron Stinnett, 2108 Porter avenue, and John Stinnett of Cardin. Okla., and fifteen nephews and nieces. Funeral rites will be conducted at 2 o'clock tomorrow' afternoon at he Hurlbut chapel. The Rev. J.W. Draper will officiate. Nephews will act as pallbearers'. Burial will
