He was born July 17, 1942, in Scioto County, a son of the late Carl and Helen Arthurs Nagle. He was a retired carman with the N&W Railroad, a member of the Anchor Pad Boat Club and the James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
He is survived by his former wife and friend, Rhuey Nagle of Portsmouth; stepmother, Juanita Nagle of Portsmouth; half brother, Barry Nagle and wife Ann of Portsmouth; two half sisters, Lori Nagle of California and Priscilla Coleman of West Portsmouth; and many other friends.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Brian Nagle.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23, 2010, at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with Pastor Bob Alexander officiating followed by military honors by James Dickey Post 23 American Legion.
