Daughter of John Gandley and Ella Mae McCain Gandley; her husband, Ramon L. Parenti; her brother Robert Gandley; and her sisters Laura Pata and Ruth McCormick.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Renee and Brian Pennock of Litchfield; and sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Kathryn Parenti of Milford and David and Michele Parenti of Concord. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Parenti worked for many years in the Maine-Endwell school system as well as for many years at Tilton Market in Northfield, N.J. She was very active in her church and community, serving in many positions in the Ladies Auxiliary and the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary. She taught CCD for many years in New York and New Jersey and was an active volunteer for Birthright in Endicott, N.Y. Mrs. Parenti always had a smile for everyone and brought joy and happiness to many lives.
