Age 81 died in Dallas, TX. Born in San Diego, California. Grew up in Wichita Falls, Tx. Became the organist at First Methoidst Church and marreid the pastor's son, John Goodwin Towerin March 1952. They moved to England for a time where he studied at the London School of Economics. They returned in 1953 to Wichita Falls. In 1961, Lou helped John win a special election to the US Senate. That victory as the first Republican elected state-wide since Reconstruction began building a two-party TX. The couple moved to Washington, D. C. where he served 24 years in the Senate (and as a fellow Texan, I can say that Senator John Tower was one of the best senators this state has ever seen.) Lou ws preceded in death by parents, Marian and Grover Bullington, sister, Marian Bullington Webb, brother Grover Bullington, Jr, daughter, Marian Tower, and her husband, Senator John Tower.
