Mary Ann's name was recorded by past family researchers as being Stephens. We were unable to document this in the past. On the death certificate of Mary Catherine Donaldson Crow, her parents names were John Donaldson, and Mary Daugherty. Since Mary Ann was 18 years younger than John, and would have been 14 at the birth of their first child in 1832, it is possible that John married prior - to another Mary Ann (Stephens?)
