He was born in Council Grove, KS, January 20, 1925, to Walter H. and Harriett E. (Rochford) Perry.
Mr. Perry graduated from Sacred Heart High School, Manhattan, KS, in 1943.
Survivors are two sons and three daughters, Lennard of Waverly, CO, Joseph of Cheyenne, WY, Angela Knoll of Arvada, CO, Rose Perry of Fort Collins, CO, and Bernadette (David) Templeton of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by grandchildren, Jeffrey Knoll of Los Angeles, CA, Allison and Tyler Perry of Cheyenne, and Megan and Ellen Templeton of Arvada, Austin Templeton, a grandson, predeceased Mr. Perry.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Timothy E. Perry, Loveland, CO, Edward L. Perry, Greeley, CO, Emmett (Shorty) Perry of Yerington, NV, Walter G. Perry of Cheyenne, WY, and two sisters, Evangaline Perry, and Geraldine Backstrom of Maryland.
He was an Army Veteran. For many years he was involved in the trucking industry. Reading and country music were a joy to him. Friends and relatives will long remember his favorite saying, "Je-e-emeny Christmas."
Funeral Mass was at St. Rose of Lima Church and burial was at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Council Grove, KS, on August 10, 2010.
