MRS. ELVIRA MIRES DIES IN HOSPITAL
A resident of Stanislaus County for the past fifty-two years, Mrs. Elvira K. Mires, 73, died in a hospital here Saturday. She had resided at 430 Magnolia Avenue.
Mrs. Mires was a widow of Lewis N. Mires, who was engaged in grain ranching. She leaves two sons and a daughter, (Edson) Lewis Mires of Modesto, (Arthur) Roy Mires of Norris, Montana, and Hazel LaSource of Hickman.
Private funeral services will be held at the Shannon Funeral Chapel Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock with Rev. C.A. Collett officiating. Incineration will be at the Parkview Cemetery.
