Goldsboro—J. Nick Edwards, 75, died at his home here Sunday night after several years of illness. Funeral services will be held at Cedar Fork Free Will Baptist Church at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon and burial will be in the church cemetery. The Rev. Robert Cannaday will officiate.
Mr. Edwards was a native of Lenoir County and a member of the Kinston Free Will Baptist Church, but had lived here for many years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. HuIda Edwards; a daughter, Mrs. W. E. Johnson of Goldsboro; and two sons, J. R. Edwards of Wayne County and Alex M. Edwards of California.
