Agnes L. Allpress, age 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on October 9, 2009.
Agnes was born to L.R. and Gunhild Swanson on November 9, 1923 in Silverdale, WA.
Agnes worked in banking for more than twenty-five years, starting at Silverdale State Bank in 1959.
Along with her career in banking, she enjoyed planting her vegetable garden each year and canning the produce she grew on the farm.
She also was an avid flower gardener and belonged to the Central Valley Garden Club.
She and her late husband, Lyle Allpress had a dairy farm in Central Valley until 1985.
She is survived by her daughter DeAnne (Ron) Perkerewicz, her sons Albert (Alma) Allpress and Robert (Cindy) Allpress all of Bremerton.
She has seven grandchildren, seventeen-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the wonderful and caring people of Hospice for helping them care for their mother during her final days.

A Celebration of Life will be at the Sons of Norway, Poulsbo, WA on October 25th at 2 p.m.
