Mrs. Mary A. Rhodes, wife of Tobias Rhodes, of Tenth avenue and Fifteenth street, Juniata, died last evening at 10.15 o'clock of complications of diseases.

She was born May 23, 1843, and was twice married. Her first husband, Joseph Evans, has been dead forty years. She is survived by her second husband, Mrs. Rhodes, with twelve children: Mrs. John Musselman, of Greenwood; Mrs. Elmer Wills, Juniata; Miss Martha Evans, of Pittsburg; Mrs. Homer Umbower, of Juniata; Mrs. Charles Ameigh, of Greenwood; J. C. Evans, of Bellwood; John Evans, of Hopewell; Reuben Evans, of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Howard Evans, of Pittsburg; Robert Evans, in France; Lemuel Rhodes, of Greenwood; David M. Rhodes, of Bellefonte; and thirty-three grandchildren, and nineteen
great grandchildren. She was a member of the Fifteenth Street Methodist church of Juniata, for many years.

The funeral services will take place from the church on Friday afternoon, at 2 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Knisely.


Interment will be made in Greenwood cemetery.
