Mrs. Kate Schwartz City
Mrs. Kate Schwartz, of Chattanooga, who has been spending the winter with her son, Leo Schwartz, died yesterday morning at the residence, 2414 Beech avenue.
Mrs. Schwartz was 82 years of age, and her husband, Bernard Schwartz, died about six weeks ago in New York City.
Mrs. Schwartz was a woman of culture, and a fine type of womanhood, and during her lifetime had endeared herself to a large circle of friends.
She is survived by four sons and two daughters, Sam, Robert, Henry and Leo, Mrs. Ike Poss and Miss Jettie Schwartz, of Chattanooga.
The son Leo is a member of the local firm of Rich, Schwartz & Joseph. The remains Were taken yesterday to Chattanooga where she had made her home for the past thirty years. Funeral services will be conducted there this morning.
