Allington, Mrs. Mary
Mrs. Mary Allington, 84, who died Jan. 10 at the home of her daughter Mrs. Robert Whitney in St. Paul, Minn., was buried from the Bower funeral home Tuesday morning, Rev. Owen Knox officiating. Interment was at Hillside cemetery.
Mrs. Allington was one of ten children born to Mr. and Mrs. John B. Muhlitner of whom two, her brothers Fred and Albert, both of St. Clair, survive. She lived on the family farm in China township until her marriage to Fred Allington. Mr. Allington died some years ago.
 She was christened in the First Methodist church and was a lifelong member of that congregation. Mrs. Allington leaves six children, Miss Mabel Allington, Bruce and Baird, all of Van Nuys, Calif.; Mrs. Robert Whitney of St. Paul, Minn.; Mrs. Howard Ivans of Normal, Ill., and Mrs. C. Easton of Royal Oak, all of whom were present for the funeral. She also had seven grandchildren.
Other relatives from out of town for the funeral were Mrs. Clara Muhlitner and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Muhlitner of Lansing; Mrs. Willard F. Shepherd of East Lansing, Mrs. and Mrs. J. B. Muhlitner, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Muhlitner, Miss Anne Redwine and Mr. and Mrs. George Allington, all of Detroit; Mrs. and Mrs. Walter Muhlitner of Ann Arbor, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Maynard of Birmingham and Mrs. and Mrs. Floyd Simons of Hudson, Michigan.
