RICHERSON, Mary Joan Cross, 79, died August 14, 2010 at her home. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Middleton, TN. Services were August 16 at 1 pm at Oakland Baptist Church in Walnut with burial in Oakland Cemetery. McBride Funeral Home was in charge. Bro Edd McCafferty and Bro Jimmy Wilbanks officiated. Survivors include one son, Jerry Richerson (Mary Lee), Walnut; one sister, Florence Cross, Falkner; two grandchildren, Cindy Richerson and Anthony Richerson (Lisa), one ggrandson, Matthew Richerson, Walnut. She was preceded in death by her husband, G. W. Richerson; her parents, John Marlin and Grace Barkley Cross; two sisters, Eleanor Hopper and Ara Gunn; one brother, John Marlin Cross Jr. Pallbearers were Anthony Richerson, Matthew Richerson, Kelton Melton, J.R. Ray and Wayne Kirk.
