Mrs. Lydia Victoria Durham Snell, age 86, of the Pine Bluff Community near Mantee, died Friday, February 17 at her home. Funeral services were held Monday, February 20 at Pine Bluff Baptist Church. Burial was in Pine Bluff Cemetery with Rev. John Edd Snell, Jr. and Rev. Leslie Dodson officiating. Special music was provided by Mrs. Cora Dendy and Mrs. Shirley Snell.

The daughter of the late Isaiah Durham and the late Martha Taylor Durham, she was a housewife and a member of Pine Bluff Baptist Church. She was a lifelong resident of Pine Bluff Community and was the widow of the late Edd Benton Snell.

Survivors include one son, John Edd Snell, Sr. of Pheba; one daughter, Mrs. Pauline Harden of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Vern McNeel, Lee McNeel, Jeff Snell, George Snell, Billy Wooten and E H Harden, Jr.

Calvert Funeral Home of West Point was in charge of arrangements.
