Chester L. Burnett, 58, Quincy, passed away on August 14, 2010 at his residence. He was born on March 4, 1952 in Greencastle, Indiana and was the son of the late Chester H. and Joan Darlene [Inman] Burnett.
He was a retired supervisor for UTC Carrier and was a 1970 graduate of Eminence High School.
He was married to Lorie A. [Van Sant] Burnett on August 20, 2007 and she survives. He is also survived by his sons, Clint Burnett & wife Shelly, Quincy and Casey Burnett, Quincy; Step-sons, Justin Gentry, Portage, Joseph Gentry, Quincy, Elliott Scott, Quincy and McKenzie Scott, Quincy; his sisters, Becki Gomez and husband Jose, Indianapolis, Sherry L. Cecil and husband Gary, Martinsville and Angela D. Griffin and husband Ryan, Indianapolis; grandchildren, Taryn, Keetyn and Trevyn Burnett; nieces Kristen and Avery; nephews, Brandon, Jason and Brogan.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2010 at 1:00 PM at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 4:00 PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Shumaker Cemetery at Eminence.
