"Orel J Brown, president of Erie Trucking Co, which serves this area, died Sunday of a heart attack. He was 52. Mr Brown, of 5211 West Ridge Road in Erie is survived by his wife, Eva Shorts Brown; one son, James R Brown; one daughter, Mrs Edmund (Juvia Jeanne) Moffat; his mother, Mrs Della Brown; a brother, Arthur J Brown of Erie; and one sister, Mrs Charles Chapin of Union City. The funeral service will take place Wednesday in Erie. Interment will be in Mitchell Cemetery, Cambridge Springs."

"Athens, July 28 - Friends and relatives are shocked at the unexpected death late Sunday afternoon of Orel Brown of Erie. He and Mrs Brown had hosted the Morton-O'Dell reunion group of about 50. Later in the day he was stricken with a heart seizure and removed to the Union City Memorial Hospital where he died shortly after being admitted. He was the youngest son of Mrs Della Brown and the late De Witt Brown of Rockdale. He is survived by his wife, Eva, a son and a daughter, his aged mother, 94, and many other relatives. Funeral service will be held Wednesday in Erie."
