John David Craddock was the son of Thomas Elmore Craddock, Jr., & Malinda Lanius. Their family moved from Fredericktown, Madison Co., MO to Honey Grove, Fannin Co., TX about 1849. John married Sarah Ellen Rainbolt in Meridian, Bosque Co., TX on Oct 21, 1877. They lived in Bosque Co. for many years, then in Oklahoma for a while, then back in Texas. They must have bought the cemetery plot while living in OK; for although they both lived in Texas when they died, they were taken to Highland Cemetery for burial.
