Olive May Walk was the youngest of nine known children of Abraham Walk and Catherine Pike Faith.
Olive was a lifetime teacher first in Kansas; and then after attending the Colorado State College of Education in Greeley, Colorado in 1911-1912, she taught in Colorado. She retired in 1953. In 1977 she wrote an account of her life entitled "The Story of My Life."
