Wilburn Campbell


A graveside service for Wilburn Campbell, age 88, of Frankston, was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 14, 2017, at Frankston City Cemetery with Rev. J.A. Griffin officiating. Services were under the direction of Autry Funeral Home in Frankston.


Mr. Campbell passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017 in Jacksonville.


Wilburn was born April 12, 1929 to Jesse and Dorothy (Norman) Campbell.


Wilburn served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean war. He retired from GE/Trane after 37 years and was a member of the United Methodist Church of Frankston.


He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Tillie Campbell; brothers, Jessie Edward Campbell and Marshall William Campbell; and sister, Myrtle McAlister.


Left to cherish his memory are children, Wilburn Campbell, Jr., John William Campbell, Donald Gerald Campbell, Ronald Wayne Campbell, and Patricia Kay Wallace. He is also survived by a grandson, Johnathan Campbell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
