Harold "Gene" Ramsey, 78, died June 18, 2007, at his home in Wappapello, MO.
He was born July 20, 1928, in Sikeston, MO, to the late William and Bessie Seifert Ramsey. In 1990 he retired from the Sikeston Power Plant and built Rotary Club and Eagles "welcome signs" in Wappapello.
He married Betty Jean Ramsey on Oct. 9, 1948 in Piggott, Ark. She preceded him in death on July 15, 2005.
Two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death also.
Survivors include: one son, Ken Ramsey; three daughters, Donna Molloy, Teresa Roberts and Debby Adams; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation was at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services were scheduled. John Tolbert of Advance officiated.
Burial followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be Ken Ramsey, Ken Roberts, Dustin Ramsey, Bud Adams, Gary Roberts and Denny Adams.
Honorary pallbearers were: Larry Williams and William Williams.
