Margaret "Mike" Adair was born to parents William and Margaret Wallace Adair on 21 July 1898 in Bay City, Michigan. She was the 4th of five children. She was married 30 June 1917 to Edwin George Arnold in Bay City. They had one son, Adam "Junior" Arnold in 1918. Margaret and Edwin divorced in 1930. She later married Theodore "Ted" Krieger. Together they also had one son, LeRoy Krieger, in 1934. Both Edwin and Ted preceded her in death.
