Mt. Sterling, Ill., Jan. 19 -- Alonzo Shinnebarger was buried in the Benville cemetery, Wednesday afternoon, with services in charge of the Reverend W. H. Tally, pastor of the Christian church.
Mr. Shinnebarger had been suffering from heart disease for some time. He was born in Ohio on July 10, 1838, and came to Brown county with his parents when six or seven years old. He was twice married. He leaves a wife and five children.
