Samuel E. Baker, age 70 years, retired farmer of Mechanicsburg, Pa. died February 19, 1913, the result of apoplexy. He was born in Penna., the son of Samuel and Barbara (Kimportz) Baker, natives of Penna. Informant, Mrs. Mervine Lamb, Mechanicsburg, Pa. Burial on 22, 1913 at Trindle Spring Cemetery by S. H. Myers Undertaker, Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Samuel Baker, aged 66, was found dead at the stable at his home in Mechanicsburg. Mr. Baker for many years lived in Monroe township being a successful farmer of that locality. Last December he moved to Mechanicsburg since which time he had been living in the house he recently purchased on South Arch street. He was a man held in the highest regard by all who knew him.
He is survived by a wife and two daughters, Mrs A M Christ of Upper Allen Township and Mrs H Mervin Lamb, East Main street, Mechanicsburg.
