East Peoria, IL - Ruth Henry, 88, of Indianapolis, formerly of East Peoria, died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2000, at Miller's Senior Living in Indianapolis.
Born May 20, 1912, in Montgomery County to Riley and Lenora Stanley Rhodes, she married George William Henry Sr. in East Peoria. He preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, George ''Bill'' Henry Jr. of Champaign; one daughter, Diana Moore of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
She was a 1964 graduate of Bradley University in Peoria.
She was an elementary school teacher with the Robein school district from 1953 until retiring in 1972.
Cremation has been accorded. Inurnment will be in Fondulac Township Cemetery.
