VETERAN OF WORLD WAR IOBITUARY OF ROBERT P. WOODS

Funeral Services for Robert P. WOODS, 72, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 19, in Boxwell Brothers Chapel.

Rev. Carroll B. Ray, former pastor of the First Baptist Church here and now superintendent of missions for district ten, officiated.

Interment in Ochiltree Cemetery was directed by Boxwell Brothers.

Pallbearers for Mr. WOODS were Omar TRUAX, Robert BARLOW, Frank DODSON, Frank WINN, Ed DOORES and T. J. DAVIS.

Mr. WOODS died Thursday in the veterans administration hospital at Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he has been a patient for 19 months.

An Ochiltree County resident since 1928, his Perryton home was at 529 SE 1st.

Mr. WOODS was born March 1889, in Fannin County.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans Foreign Wars.

Surviving is his sister, Mrs. Ollie MORRIS of Perryton.
