Funeral services for Mrs Sarah Quear, widow of George Quear, died at her home in Elwood Thursday morning after an illness of several weeks. The funeral services will be held at the Christian church in Elwood Sunday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. V. Hayes Miller in charge and burial in the Elwood cemetery.

Mrs Quear was born in Hamilton county near Millersburg December 19, 1863 being a daughter of Mr and Mrs James Scott, and was married May 3, 1883 to George Quear whose death occurred February 2, 1932.

The surviving children are Arthur Quear of Elwood and a daughter Miss Blanche Quear at home. She is also survived by a brother, Frank Scott of Elwood and a half-brother P. J. Scott of Kokomo, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs Quear during her early married life resided in Hamilton county, the family removing to Elwood a numer of years ago. The body will lie in state at the home 1028 North Eleventh Street in Elwood until the hoour of the services and friends may call.
