Mrs. Thomasson, a retired Smart Shop employee, also had worked for the Hat and Bridal Shop. She was the widow of James Greg Thomasson.
Survivors are her son, H.G. Thomasson of York; daughters, Ms. Ferrie Ward of Columbia, Ms. Margaret Foster, Ms. Jean Austin; brothers, Miles Bigger of Clover, Cuyler Bigger of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; sister, Miss Grace Bigger of York; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
