Mildred I. Claytor - Services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Blue Ridge Christian Union Church, Shelby County, for Mildred I. Claytor, 78, R.R. 1, Waldron. Mrs. Claytor died Saturday at 10:21 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital, Beech Grove. The Rev. James Farnsley will officiate. Friends may call at the Carmony-Ewing Broadway Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today. Friends may also call one hour prior to the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Cemetery. Born Oct. 18, 1912, she was a daughter of Paul and Maude (Gahimer) Fuchs. She married Henry Claytor, who survives. Mrs. Claytor was a homemaker and a Shelby County resident all her life. She was a member of the Blue Ridge Christian Union Church, Blue Ridge. Other survivors include four daughters, Mable Jordan, Columbus, Marjorie Daughtery, Lincoln, Neb., Dorthy Claytor, Waldron, and Mrs. Joseph (Charlotte) Daugherty, Butlerville; a son Maurice Claytor, Wylie, Texas; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Maurice Fuchs and Melvin Fuchs, both of Shelbyville. Mrs. Claytor was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Christian Union Church.
