Capt. George Raymond, b. Dec. 8, 1767, son of John; m. Oct. 9, 1796, Martha Smith, dau. of Gilbert Smith and Eunice Dennison, of Groton, Ct., b. May 24, 1776. They had at Montville, Ct.:

1) Nancy, b. June, 1798, m. William B. Dolbear, had 2 chn., and d. Aug. 13, 1834, ae. 36.
2) George, b. Jan. 19, 1801, m. (1) April 4, 1821, Eliza Bliss Rogers; (2) May, 1836, Eliza Peabody; (3) Sep. 25, 1870, Hannah Waterman.
3) Eunice Bolles, b. Oct. 16, 1803, m. July 5, 1829, William Raymond.
4) Elizabeth Griswold, b. Oct. 23, 1809, m. David R. Dolbear, and d. Dec. 27, 1836, without issue.

George Raymond d. Jan. 21, 1852, ae. 84. Martha Raymond d. Mar. 23, 1860, ae. 83. Both were buried in the homestead burying-place with their parents and other members of the family.
